Hungry on a Sunday in The Hague ?

Well, when that's the case on sunday June 1, and you might be on the Antique and Book market at the Lange Voorhout, then that problem is solved !
Because not only Indonesian objects and books are to be found, there will also be Indonesian food.

At Bodega De Posthoorn they will serve:
a spicy Rendang Burger with aromatic Coriander Bread

At Jeff's Voorhout you can eat:
sweet Lapies or Kings Crown, in Holland known as Spekkoek,
or spicy Lemper and Bapoa

Berry Rutjes Jr., a new standholder on the Antique market in The Hague

With great enthusiasm a new standholder recently introduced herself on the Facebook page of the market; de Haagse Antiek en Boekenmarkt.
Her name is Berry Rutjes Jr.
I met her yesterday, on her first day at the market.
And I think she is born with that enthusiasm !

She had a delightfull, tasty stand with mainly hats; vintage hats, but also her own designed hats.

So this summer season, every thursday, she will attend a stall on our market.
She also has a website with an english page. There you can find items from her collection, her design hats and read about her workshops, etc.

When I left her, to go back to my own stall, she gave me "dropjes" (liquorice) And what do you think ? Even thoose were little hats.
