a touch of the past Dutch East
Indies and the present Indonesia will be presented on
the Antique market and
Book market,
on the Lange Voorhout in The Hague.
Some stallholders will show
objects and books of Indonesian origin or made with Indonesia as inspiration.
One can expect books, art, antiques, silver, stamps, statues, textiles,
furniture and more.
At the same time the famous Tong Tong Fair will take place on the
Malieveld in The Hague. This is the biggest Eurasian fair in the
world. It is a blend of cultural festival, exhibition and food fest. Held in an
archipelago of tents and stands.
One of the biggest attractions is the Tong
Tong Festival, with hundreds of performances, spread over 12 days.
